Google ReCaptcha helps you determine if a visitor is a bot or a real human. The reason why ReCAPTCHA is the most common tool used when logging in or filling out forms online is precisely the prevention of spam and abuse of the website. CAPTCHA is actually an abbreviation of - Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart. CAPTCHA prevents spam or bots from entering data into fields on your website. This may include fake comments on posts, fake email addresses or fake transactions and logins.
The user does not identify himself immediately by solving a test, but the software applies silent background analysis in order to identify malicious behavior in the form of bots. Let's just say that there is no 100% protection against bots, but with the help of reCAPTCHA, you will stop most malicious bots from spamming your inbox and at the same time loading your web server. It is a complex detection technology that has evolved over time into a really useful tool for protection against the mentioned type of web traffic. Enough to keep it from your inbox and at the same time prevent attempts at unauthorized login or registration on your site.
To use Google ReCaptcha, simply copy your ReCaptcha V3 keys into Settings -> Security. When your keys are copied, ReCaptcha will be automatically activated on the pages that need it and a sign (photo) will appear in the lower right corner.
