Abandoned Carts
It is not uncommon for customers to add something to their cart, go to checkout, fill in some data and then simply forget about it. That is when abandoned carts come into play. If a customer or guest user has something in their cart and they have entered their email address to checkout you simply send them an email reminding them that they have something in their cart and that they can continue shopping via the link provided in an email. This can be a useful tool in recovering abandoned carts. Please keep in mind that abandoned carts are considered abandoned only if more than 24h have passed after the latest cart update.
The email will be sent just by clicking on the picture of the letter in the right corner, and you can change the text of the email you send daily in the Settings -> Email details (view) section. In the same section, you also change the texts of other emails that you send to the customer (order confirmations, cancelled orders, etc.).
