Basic shop set up

Once you start setting up your shop you should configure a couple of things.

1. Setting up billing details

Please insert your billing details and choose package in order to start selling and ensure that you store will not be removed automatically.

2. Setting up basics

Visit "Settings" page. There you should configure your shop country and how tax should be calculated and if price entered in admin area includes tax or not.

3. Setting up taxes

The second thing is to add Taxes and Tax Groups. For example "General Goods" can be a tax and tax group would contain "General Goods" and would declare tax percent for specific country that you are selling your products to.

4. Setting up shipping

The third thing is to set shipping methods. Each method should have name, and tracking code base as well as default price.To provide you with a more options you can always add, Shipping Rules. Each shipping rules defines product weight FROM and TO and price for order of that size for specific country.

5. Setting up payment

Here you can enable or disable each payment method and change its description for frontend., Also to use PayPal you would need to insert your API keys. More about that here.

6. Creating your first category

Now you can create your category structure by visiting category page in main menu.

7. Creating your first product

Now you can start creating your products. More information can be found in "Products" section of this knowledge base.
